The Golden Sands of Kaiteriteri

A week ago today, we spent the entire day lounging on a gorgeous beach just south of Abel Tasman National Park. The beach is called Kaiteriteri and it has golden sand, calm turquoise water, and beautiful rock formations.

We spent the whole day just reading on the sand, occasionally going for a swim. That evening we ate dinner at a picnic table over-looking the beach and an amicable German couple shared their farm fresh apple juice with us.
